The founding idea behind Slenderfish is that as a company transitions to a SaaS model, business expenses will temporarily rise, and revenue will likely drop as the company adapts to the new model. But once the corporate systems have adjusted & acclimated, revenue will rise back up and business expenses will drop. Abstractly, if you plot these two values on a graph, the resulting shape looks a little bit like a fish. The goal of Slenderfish is to make this "fish" shape as thin as possible. This idea persists throughout the Slenderfish brand, from the name to the logomark.
